Lavrion is a municipality in Attica, one of the most populous regions of Greece. Lavrion is located between the ancient sites of Thorikos and Sounion, right on the coast of the Aegean Sea. Families and less experienced sailors who want to sail in a more relaxed way will find easier conditions west of Athens and Lavrion. Recommended are trips to the Saronic and Argolic gulfs and the coast of the Peloponnese. The Peloponnese is the area that extends furthest into the Mediterranean.
